Today marks a really sad day for the Indian music industry as one of its pillars, aka the original ‘Disco king’ of Bollywood, Bappi Lahiri is no more. He breathed his last at a hospital in Juhu in Mumbai and was 69 when he breathed his last.
Ever since the unfortunate news came out, the entire Indian film industry has been mourning his loss. And as far as Bengali industry is concerned, leading the way are Rituparna Sengupta and Ankush Hazra. While Rituparna posted a photo of herself with Bappi Lahiri, Ankush shared a collage photo of Bappi Lahiri and veteran legendary singer Sandhya Mukherjee who also passed away yesterday evening.
