Saddened by the news, the chief minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde gave his condolences and wrote in Marathi, “Pradeep Patwardhan won people’s hearts with his evergreen acting skills. His sudden death is tragic as the Marathi film industry lost its gem. And can’t fill the void without him.”
