Shailendra Singh used a strong metaphor to describe Salman Khan’s journey. He said Salman Khan was born like a tiger in the jungle and today lives like a tiger in a zoo. According to Shailendra Singh, massive success can slowly make a person fearful. Fame brings power, attention, and people who constantly make you feel important. Over time, this creates pressure and distance. He shared that when people start treating you like a boss all the time, it can change your thinking and behavior.

Talking about himself, Shailendra Singh said he still feels hungry for more. He believes this hunger exists because he never achieved the fame Salman Khan did. He confidently added that his story is not over yet and said, “I am still coming.” According to him, this hunger keeps a person grounded and motivated.

Shailendra Singh also spoke warmly about his bond with Salman Khan. The two shared a unique ritual for almost three years. Every Monday night, when the city slept, they would step out together. They would roam around Bandra in rickshaws, dance, visit pubs, and enjoy simple drinks like jaljeera and nimbu pani. These nights were carefree and full of laughter, away from the noise of fame and the film industry.

During this phase, many major events happened in Salman Khan’s life, including his relationship with Aishwarya Raiand the well-known Vivek Oberoi episode. Shailendra Singh said Salman Khan is an emotional person. He feels deeply, gets angry quickly, but also loves with a full heart. Over the years, Salman Khan has learned to control his emotions much more than before.

Shailendra Singh revealed that he tried to calm Salman Khan during the Vivek Oberoi controversy. He told Salman Khan that Vivek Oberoi had done what he wanted, and now Salman Khan should do things his own way, silently. Salman Khan followed that advice. When Siddharth Kannan asked what happened after that, Shailendra Singh replied honestly that Vivek Oberoi does not seem to be working in films now, though he added that this was just how it appeared to him.

The conversation then moved to Aishwarya Rai. Shailendra Singh shared a lesser-known story from her early days. He said he first noticed Aishwarya Rai when she was just 18 or 19. She was often seen at Marine Drive on her way to Jai Hind College. At that time, Aishwarya Rai had already done three commercials.

Shailendra Singh recalled that Aishwarya Rai once came with her parents to meet him and Kunal Kapoor near Worli Naka at around 8:30 at night. She did three advertisements for just ₹5,000. According to Shailendra Singh, this was the true beginning of Aishwarya Rai’s journey. He praised her grace and dignity and said people like Aishwarya Rai should represent and be the voice of the film industry.

When Siddharth Kannan asked whether Shailendra Singh was present during Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship, he replied that he was in and out. He clearly stated that he was never a sidekick. He described himself as a phase friend—someone who shared time and moments. Still, he said he is proud to speak about Salman Khan and believes Salman Khan is genuinely a good person, though often surrounded by the wrong people and situations. He added that Salman Khan has a strange way of finding trouble without meaning to.

Shailendra Singh also mentioned that Aishwarya Rai lived in the same building as Sachin Tendulkar. Salman Khan would visit her there. He described their relationship as intense and emotional, almost like Romeo and Juliet. According to him, Salman Khan is deeply passionate, while Aishwarya Rai is dignified, respectful, and strong in her values.
