Journalist Vickey Lalwani shared an update on the actress’s health today, August 22, 2026, revealing that she is hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital. According to the journalist, the senior actress has been in the hospital for some days now.

The journalist’s reports reveal Poonam has been diagnosed with dengue, and she has been undergoing treatment in the hospital. Vickey also revealed that he texted the well-known actress this morning, and in the response, the actress confirmed that she is recovering now.

Vickey on his Instagram wrote, “Poonam Dhillon has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. The senior actress has been diagnosed with dengue and has been in the hospital for quite some days now.
