The voices supporting Rhea Chakraborty against the vicious smearing campaign are growing. After Swara Bhaskar, Tapsee Pannu and Vidya Balan, it is singer Shibani Dandekar who has written a moving note in Rhea’s defense.
Interestingly Shibani’s significant other Farhan Akhtar, has chosen to keep away from any public support for Rhea, although one hears he has expressed his support to Rhea in private. By and large the men of the film industry are still afraid to come forward in support of Rhea.
“She is this millennium’s Scarlett Woman. The woman we love to hate. Rhea has acquired a cult status in distress,” a young multi-talented filmmaker-actor says.
Why doesn’t he come out and speak in Rhea’s favour?
