Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s Jabariya Jodi has been lavished with a great deal of love and affection from their die-hard fans. Social media has more often than not been trending with either posts about the movie or the actors or the songs. The songs are as peppy as they could get and tracks like ‘Zilla Hilela’ and Khadke Glassy’ have hit the playlists of almost everyone who is into Bollywood dance numbers. The film is primarily based on the real-life cases of groom-kidnapping by the baahubalis, something that is a big reality factor especially in Northern India and in the states of UP and Bihar. As per confirmed sources, the makers of Jabariya Jodi have pushed the release of Jabariya Jodi ahead by a week and it will now be releasing on 9th August 2019.
This decision was taken after considering the fact that there were too many releases scheduled for August 2nd. Also, some films which had released in the weeks gone by are still enjoying a decent run at the box office. To add to that, prominent exhibitors across India came together and requested the makers to move the film ahead to 9th Aug to avoid the clutter and hence ‘Jabariya Jodi’ will now enjoy the benefit of a solo release, something that’s rare in today’s time where too many movies come up every Friday.
‘Jabariya Jodi’ is backed by Balaji Telefilms and has been helmed by debutant director Prashant Singh. This will be Balaji Telefilms’ second release on a trot after ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’
