Sunny Deol, a Bollywood actor and BJP MP from Gurdaspur has been confirmed to have contracted Covid-19.
As per reports in the media, the health secretary told PTI that according to information received from the district chief medical officer, the MP, and his friends were planning to leave for Mumbai, but his Covid-19 test result came out positive on Tuesday.
According to Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi, Sunny has been residing in the Kullu district for a few days. The 64-year-old Bollywood actor recently had shoulder surgery in Mumbai and is recovering at a farmhouse near Manali in the Kullu district.
