Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has reiterated that her brother, who passed away under mysterious circumstances at his Mumbai residence, was murdered. In her recent interview, Shweta mentioned that several psychics pointed out foul play in her brother’s demise, and there are questions still unanswered.
Speaking to ‘Supertalks By Themovingship’, Shweta said, “It’s been six years; we still do not know what really happened. What was the hurry for post-mortem? He never used to lock his room. How was his room locked from inside? There are several unanswered questions.” Shweta emphasized, “Something was not right. Something was wrong.”
Shweta also revealed that Sushant was disturbed after his manager Disha Salian’s death, who died after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Mumbai. She even mentioned Sushant telling her that they won’t spare him either: “After Disha Salian’s death, he was very much disturbed. He kept saying that they will not even spare him. I don’t know. Maybe he had some information he was about to come out with. Maybe something like that.”
When asked if by “they” she means Bollywood, Shweta denied it, saying, “We do not know that,” and added that now she doesn’t expect closure from the CBI but wishes to celebrate Sushant’s legacy because even if they know there was foul play, nothing would bring back Sushant. She said, “We do not need a closure from CBI now; we know what had happened. Whatever they are doing, maybe cover-up, we know in our hearts what happened. There was some kind of cover-up. Now what do we do? After we know that there was some foul play. What do we do? Should we keep this wound open or should we live Sushant?”
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020. Many suspect it was a death by suicide, but others have alleged foul play, and the exact truth is unknown.
