Since the time Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh trailer dropped yesterday, a lot of buzz and furore has been created. We’ll, not just the positive way, but also the negative way.
If on one hand, Taapsee and Bhumi are being praised for taking a character which is out of their skin and adapting to the old age body language, the makers and the producers are being bashed for not giving priority to senior actors for the roles, but casting young actors into the space. To add more flame to the lit fire, senior actress Neena Gupta too expressed her two cents on the topic.
