Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna started the film Varisu, got released today in theatres. However, the film was leaked even before its release. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally in a shot majorly in the southern states of Chennai and Hyderabad with a beautiful scenes in hill stations Visakhapatnam, Bellary, and Ladakh. Vijay made his comeback to films with Varisu. However, the film has been leaked online in HD full version on different pirated websites like Telegram, Tamilrockers, and several others.

Varisu got released today, January 11, in Tamil, and the Hindi and Telugu versions will be released after three days. The film earned 9.6 crores in advance bookings over the country on its first day.
