Taapsee Pannu is definitely on a roll in the film industry and she’s ensuring all the right scripts come her way. Well, movies like Badla, Game Over, Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh are super movies.
Currently, she’s busy shooting for Rashmi Rocket but before that, she’s gearing up for the release of her next with her favorite director, Anubhav Sinha titled ‘Thappad’.
Thappad as Taapsee and Anubhav said earlier is a tribute to all the women and going by the trailer, we get exactly the same feeling.
When asked about what all she feels the movie will help in, she said and we quote –
“We women tend to take a lot for granted. For a long time, I wanted to do something on this note and over a casual discussion on a flight, Anubhav sir told me that he has something and he will narrate to me. It starts with a slap but it is not desirable at all. You cannot physically abuse anyone you love. It means disrespect. The movie will make women introspect about their lives.”
