Starring the charismatic fresh pair Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest’ has opened on a good note at the domestic box office. The folklore thriller, according to Sacnilk reports, collected an ₹8 crore net in India on its opening day (Day 1/First Friday), making a positive start as it began its theatrical journey.
Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the fantasy film recorded an impressive start across 6,746 shows with a decent 28.25 percent occupancy.
The film saw the highest occupancy at night, at 41.46 percent, and the lowest in the morning at just 12.23 percent. Afternoon shows saw 24.00 percent occupancy, while evening shows recorded 26.08 percent.
The film marks a milestone by highlighting the cultural significance of Chhath Puja while exploring Devaanchal folklore. Driven by solid regional pull, the film’s domestic gross collection stands at ₹9.60 crore, while its international box office collection is yet to open.

With 8 crore net collection on day 1, the fantasy film marked an impressive start, giving a positive signal for the first weekend amid the competition from Vibe, Daayra, Mirzapur: The Movie, and Hanuman Ansh.
