Finally, the wait is over as the much-awaited Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer The Vvaan trailer was released today, September 16, 2026. Starring top actors and set in a folklore world, the film has generated major hype among fans; now that the trailer is out, let’s see if it lives up to expectations.
The trailer opens by introducing a mysterious power protecting a forbidden forest where entry is banned —and history dictates that anyone who ventures in never returns. Simultaneously, the story returns to the present day, where Sidharth’s character sees mysterious dreams. Tamannaah shares her take, telling him he might have a connection, strongly hinting at a double role bridging the past and present. The film raises burning questions like: What entity dwells near the temple? What is the forest’s true history? Who needs protection, and what happens when a legendary warrior rises? Presenting the untold folklore with VFX and grand-scale visuals creates curiosity and keeps viewers hooked.
The premise looks interesting, but at times it feels familiar. The on-screen chemistry between Sidharth and Tamannaah feels lukewarm rather than electrifying. The story builds anticipation and keeps you watching, but its impact isn’t consistently strong enough to leave a lasting impression.
With an eerie setting, mysterious premise, and flashes of tension, The Vvaan grabs attention; however, unrealistic VFX at times, a familiar tone, and a lack of impact affect the overall experience. The film certainly hooks you, but misses the punch that could have made it truly gripping.
The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is Presented and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari under Balaji Motion Pictures in association with The Viral Fever (TVF) and 11:11 Productions.
