The latest news that is making the internet go berserk is that the trailer of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has just hit the online space, and fans are going gaga with admiration.
The trailer of the movie is gripping AF and is a delight to watch. The 200-crore movie seems to have been mounted on a lavish scale and has a distinct Baahubali vibe. It has been produced by Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan and features Chiranjeevi in the titular character of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the first freedom fighter in the history of India’s freedom struggle against the British. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan plays his mentor Gosaayi Venkanna in the movie.
Directed by Kick director Surrender Reddy, the film is based on the life of one of the first Indian warriors to fight against British rule in 1846, much before the first full-fledged uprising against the British of 1857. Nayanthara plays the wife of Uyyalwada in the film.
The star-studded cast also includes Kiccha Sudeep as Avuku Raja, Vijay Sethupathi as Raaja Pandi, Tamannah as Lakshmi, Jagapathi Babu as Veera Reddy, besides Brahmaji and Ravi Kishan.
Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has bought the distribution rights of the Hindi-dubbed version of the movie.
