The Day 8 number is a bit higher than Thursday’s ₹1.9 crore. This rise is expected as Friday usually performs better than regular weekdays. Though the jump is not very big, it shows that the film is holding steady and not losing momentum.
The first week remained decent overall. The film had a strong opening weekend, then saw the usual weekday drop. Still, it managed to stay close to the ₹2 crore mark on weekdays, which helped it comfortably cross ₹20 crore by the end of seven days.
With Day 8’s collection, the total box office figure now stands at approximately ₹25.3 crore in India. For a film without a major superstar, these numbers are considered fair. The steady performance in metro cities continues to support the film.
Adarsh Gourav’s performance continues to be appreciated by audiences. His natural acting style has connected well, especially with urban viewers. Shanaya Kapoor is also gaining attention, and their fresh pairing remains a talking point.
Now, all eyes are on the second weekend. If Saturday and Sunday show good growth, Tu Yaa Main can add solid numbers to its total. The film may not be breaking records, but it is holding steady at the box office.
