Tu Yaa Main is slowly moving towards the end of its first week in theatres. After a decent weekend and a normal weekday drop, the film is now trying to stay stable. The numbers are not very big, but they are not falling badly either.
On Day 6 (Wednesday), the film earned around ₹2 crore in India. This is slightly lower than Tuesday’s ₹2.2 crore. The drop is small and quite normal. Wednesday is usually a slow day for most films. So, staying close to ₹2 crore is considered okay.
The film opened with ₹3.4 crore on Friday. On Saturday, it collected ₹4.8 crore. Sunday was the best day with ₹6.2 crore. After the weekend, the usual drop came. Monday brought in ₹2.6 crore, Tuesday earned ₹2.2 crore, and now Wednesday has added ₹2 crore. With this, the total collection after six days is around ₹21.2 crore.
Crossing ₹20 crore in six days is decent for a film like this. It is not a big-budget film and does not have a huge star cast. So the numbers are average but acceptable.
One reason the film is holding steady is the fresh pairing. Many viewers like Adarsh Gourav’s acting. People feel he looks natural and simple on screen. Shanaya Kapoor is also getting attention. Many young viewers like her performance and screen presence.
The film is doing better in big cities than in small towns. Multiplex theatres are delivering better numbers than single-screen theatres. Evening and night shows are doing better than morning shows. This is helping the film collect around ₹2 crore daily during weekdays.
The story is emotional and simple. It connects more with young audiences and couples. However, it may not appeal to everyone because it lacks big action or heavy drama. That is why the collections are steady but not growing fast.
Now, the focus is on Day 7. If Thursday also stays close to ₹1.8–₹2 crore, the film can end its first week at around ₹23–₹24 crore. After that, the second weekend will be very important. If the film grows on Saturday and Sunday, it can improve its total.
Right now, the film is performing at an average level. It is not a hit yet, but it is not failing either. The steady trend is helping it stay in the race.
With around ₹21.2 crore collected in six days, Tu Yaa Main is moving ahead slowly. The next few days will decide how far it can go at the box office.
