Taniya Kalrra who has been part of the web-series for Applause Entertainment, Udan Patolas and Your Honor will be debuting as lead in the Kannada film circuit.

Taniya will play the leading lady and will be cast opposite actor Naveen Shankar who has earlier delivered a hit Kannada film in Gultoo.
The film is debut in direction for the director Chetan Bhaskaraih. The film which is yet to be titled is produced by Kiran Govindraj.
Taniya who was earlier in the hospitality industry found happiness in her acting front and that is when her theater experience helped her big time.
Taniya who has shot for two major Applause Entertainment series as mentioned above, took it up as a challenge to speak Kannada language herself for the film.
We hear that Taniya put the extra effort to learn the script in the respective language.
The film has Taniya playing a college going girl who is a tough nut to crack. Naveen will play a violent young man and the manner in which their love story will kick start will form the crux of the story.
