The non-stop promotion of Karan Johar’s Liger has taken its toll on Vijay Deverakonda’s health. He was down with exhaustion and fever this week. But he refused to take a break from the promotion arguing that he can take a break after the film is released.
Touted as producer Karan Johar’s new blue-eyed boy, Vijay Deverakonda is being marketed as the Next Big Thing in Bollywood after Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Kartik Aryan.
Says producer Karan Johar, “I don’t know about the competition. But Vijay is a very special actor with the potential to be a full-on pan-India star. He is dynamite in Liger.”
Liger will have one of the widest releases ever for a Dharma Production, reportedly more than 2,000 prints in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil .
