Fast And Furious star Vin Diesel was left in shock and tears as he witnessed his stunt double fall 30 ft down while performing a stunt in his place on the sets of Fast And Furious 9. The stuntman fell on his head, as he performed a stunt doubling for Vin Diesel

Stuntman Joe Watts was rushed to the hospital with a serious head injury in the 30ft fall at the Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire on Monday afternoon.

He was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital, where doctors started treatment on him immediately.

The stuntman is in induced coma and doctors are closely monitoring him 24/7.

As per reports, Vin Diesel was present on the set and witnessed Watts fall on his head as he performed a stunt in the movie star’s place.

According to a source quoted by the British newspaper The Sun, “Vin Diesel was seen on set seconds after. He looked ashen, totally in shock and blinking back tears. He saw what happened.”

Work was instantly halted on the sets until further notice.

Vin Diesel had had the misfortune of witnessing several tragedies in his stellar career.

In 2002, another stuntman, Harry O’Connor, lost his life while serving as a stunt double for Vin Diesel for the movie xXx. O’Connor died on set in Prague while performing a paragliding stunt in the actor’s place.

Diesel’s Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker died in a devastating car crash off-set during filming of Fast and Furious 7 in 2013. Walker was only 40 when he was killed.
