Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is determined to make history in one way or another. Having smashed all boxoffice records, it is now creating history on another level altogether.

The highly controversial film has now been released in sign language for the hearing impaired, on OTT.This is the first Hindi film in sign language.

Vivek Agnihotri is overwhelmed with emotions. “This is beyond anything we had ever imagined.What is happening to The Kashmir Files is no longer in our hands. It has winged off into places we had never imagined it would go.”

Darshan Kumaar who plays the lead role of a displaced Kashmiri Pandit is especially grateful for his film reaching the specially abled. “The Kashmir Files is a heart-wrenching story of the pain, suffering and struggle. I believe everyone should know about this story as it’s a reminder to all the people of the world to stand united and fight against the brutal acts of terrorism. It gives us a message to live in harmony and make this world a better place to live in.”
Darshan feels cinema needs to be more sensitive towards the specially abled sections of our society. “As this movie is very close to my heart I am extremely happy that Kashmir Files has reached our specially abled audiences and hope to receive a lot of love from them.”
