Not many know that the actress initially wanted to become an engineer, so she moved to Delhi to pursue an engineering degree. She enrolled in Amity University, Noida, but dropped out in just three months, after which she enrolled at Asian School of Media Studies, Noida.
Prasanna learned filmmaking and made several short films and music videos. After completing her degree, she moved to Mumbai to further pursue her career in acting.
