The buzz doing the rounds in Bollywood is that the Saina Nehwal bio-pic entitled Saina which opens on 26 March may be promoted by the real Saina alongside Parineeti Chopa who portrays her , just like Dhoni had done with his biopic when he held forth during promotions with Sushant Singh Rajput .
Sources say, Parineeti is way too visible nowadays to make a satisfying impression on the moviegoing public.
“She was seen in The Girl On The Train last month which she promoted intensely. Now she is promoting Yash Raj Films’ Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which opens on 19 March, the following week it’s Saina. By the time Parineeti comes to Saina the audience would be suffering from her overdose,” says the source.
Time to bring in the real Saina Nehwaal to save this big-screen release from sinking in excesses.
