Talented actor Yash Pandit who was last seen in &TV’s Daayan is presently shooting for a movie titled Betiyaan.
The film which is produced by Maharashtra Police and is backed by the Government and will convey a social message for the masses.
The movie promotes women empowerment and spreads awareness about the ‘Beti Bachao’ campaign.
Yash Pandit has earlier featured in movies Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai, Rok Sako To Rok Lo, Faltu. Betiyaan is a love story which also has an element of saving the girl child.
Yash plays the lead in the movie, a Captain in the Army Force. The team recently shot at real locations of the army base at Dehradun. The unit will soon be travelling to Nepal for its next schedule.
When contacted, Yash Pandit comfirmed the news to us but did not want to get into details.
The film is directed by Vaishno Deva.
It is slated to release on 26 January 2020, on the Republic Day.
