Ananya Panday and Chunky Panday, the father-daughter duo is one of the favourites in the country. The two share a great bond and often spill some unknown fun facts about each other in public.
Speaking of that, Chunky Panday recently spoke about Ananya’s embarrassing encounter with Naseeruddin Shah, which she had on the sets of their upcoming film, under Shakun Batra’s directorial.
As quoted by Hindustan Times, Chunky Panday in a candid conversation with the comedian Cyrus Broacha, said that Naseeruddin Shah calls him ‘The Great Panday’ and referring that he narrated the embarrassing moment that his daughter encountered, saying, “In fact, Cyrus, something very funny happened. My daughter was shooting with Naseeruddin Shah, for a film, for Shakun Batra. And she went to meet him, and he asked her, ‘How’s the Great Panday?’ So my daughter thought he was talking about her, so she says, ‘I’m fine, sir’, and he says, ‘No, I’m talking about your dad’. So if Naseeruddin Shah can call me ‘the Great Panday’ I must be the greatest in the universe.”
