Every bride anticipates her wedding day and wishes to make it as memorable as possible. It’s critical to look your best because you’ll be looking at those photos for the rest of your life. With their gorgeous wedding ensembles, our B-town divas have provided us with a lot of inspiration. However, if you wish to go against the grain and wear a saree instead of a lehenga, these are the divas to look up to. Deepika Padukone married Ranveer Singh in November 2018, and she stunned us with a slew of bridal ensembles. She wore a burnt orange Kanjeevaram saree to her Konkani wedding to honour her Konkani ancestry.

The Gandaberunda leitmotifs ran all over the brocade silk Kanjeevaram saree from Advaya, which was made with flawless zari threads. Deepika’s home state of Karnataka is represented by the Gandaberunda, a mythological two-headed bird depicted on the orange saree. Her South Indian temple jewellery added to the grandeur of her saree. She is accessorized with jhumkas, a stack of kadas, rings, and an ornate matha Patti, as well as a Guttapusalu necklace. Yami Gautam wore her mother’s iconic red bridal gown! The traditional silk saree, which was 33 years old, has delicate gold embroidery all over it. Her blouse, which had floral designs in the same gold embroidery as the saree, complimented the saree nicely. She finished off her bridal attire with a similar crimson dupatta given to her by her maternal grandmother.

A regal gold choker set, maang tikka, and kalirae adorned with cowries and coconut were among Yami’s hereditary gems. The actress also wore a traditional Pahaadi Himachali Nath, which she received from her grandma. Patralekhaa chose a stunning red Sabyasachi saree, which she paired with a scarlet dupatta as a veil. “Amar poran bhora bhalobasha AAMI tomaye somorpan korilam (I submit my heartfelt love to you),” read a beautiful statement inscribed in Bengali along the border of her embroidered dupatta. She completed her ensemble with a big choker and earring set, as well as a stone-studded matha Patti. Along with it, she wore gold kadhas and Kundan bangles.

Mouni Roy wore a white silk saree with traditional crimson and golden borders for her South Indian wedding ceremony with Suraj Nambiar. The saree was paired with an eye-catching blouse and was embellished with stunning borders with jacquard and brocade gold zari. Mouni accessorized the saree with regal temple jewellery in the shape of kadas, jhumkas, matha, and kamar Patti, making her look like an ideal Malayali bride. She also donned a long gold temple necklace and a thick choker.
