Wearing a multipurpose belt with traditional attire is a newer trend that our Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit, Kiara Advani, and Alia Bhatt have indulged in. A belt helps to emphasize your natural curves while also cinching the waist. A simple belt may lend a touch of modishness to an Indian dress while also giving it shape. Madhuri Dixit Nene looked stunning in a black, and white polka dot saree from Shubhika’s Papa Don’t Preach line. The patterned georgette saree was adorned with a beaded and sequin border, as well as reflected gold embellishments.

The saree was worn with a patterned taffeta bralette and an embroidered black and gold belt around the waist. Madhuri kept her jewelry simple, opting for a pair of dramatic earrings and a ring, allowing her gown to take the stage. Kiara Advani wore a JJ Valaya Couture printed lehenga with a beautiful chevron motif in black and white. A wide gold border around the lehenga, with delicate red embellishments. The edgy lehenga was coupled with a plunging neckline black bralette-style top with the same chevron motif on the hem. A tan statement belt with the designer’s distinctive gold buckle lent a modern touch to the ensemble.

Kiara Advani kept her accessories to a bare minimum, opting for a pair of polki earrings with blue embellishments and a matching ring. Alia Bhatt, dressed in a yellow-green Sabyasachi ruffle saree, was the star of the event. The patterned saree was as contemporary as it gets. It was matched with a backless one-shoulder shirt that offered a much-needed seductive vibe and a matching belt with a gold clasp that constricted at the waist. Alia finished the ensemble with a pair of large statement earrings with a hint of green.
