While the film is garnering immense love from all quarters, it’s also a testament to Aamir Khan’s deep love for cinema that he chose to release the film exclusively in theatres for public viewing. The superstar was compelled to bring the film to cinemas to reach the widest audience possible and offer a truly enjoyable theatrical experience. The Multiplex Association of India has appreciated this courageous move by the superstar.
Aamir Khan Productions took to social media to share a note from the Multiplex Association of India, in which they expressed their gratitude to Aamir Khan for releasing Sitaare Zameen Par on the big screen. They applauded his decision for sending out a powerful message, that cinema continues to be the premier destination for community-driven, immersive storytelling.
