Awarapan 2 is one of the highly anticpated movies of the year. The love for the iconic franchise has only grown stronger over the years, and fans are now counting down the days until its grand theatrical release on 14th August. Adding to the excitement, producer Vishesh Bhatt, along with Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani, went live on Instagram to interact with fans, and announced 6th August as the trailer release date of the film, while offering several intriguing insights into the film.
During the candid conversation, Vishesh Bhatt also addressed the question that fans have been asking for years, Why did Awarapan 2 take so long to happen? Putting an end to the countless speculations and theories surrounding the sequel, the producer shared the heartfelt reason behind its long journey to the big screen.
Vishesh Bhatt said, “Awarapan 2 ko itne saal isliye lag gaye ki Awarapan 1 ke baad mein, very honestly, aap sabko jo aap Awarapan 1 ke fans hain, aapko malum hai ki 19 saal lag gaye logon ko Awarapan samajhne mein ek tareeke se, Awarapan se pyaar karne se. Awarapan is not just a film, it’s a journey, it’s a journey of Shivam. Aur wo soulful journey ke sath mein I wanted to continue the narrative.”
Awarapan 2 brings back Emraan Hashmi as Shivam Pandit alongside Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Aniruddh Rawal and Atul Kumar. The soulful music of Awarapan 2 is composed by multiple artists, including Mithoon, Jeet Gannguli, Amaal Mallik, and Akhil Sachdeva.
