Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios have unveiled the much-awaited teaser of 120 Bahadur, featuring Farhan Akhtar in a powerful avatar as the legendary Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC. Packed with intensity, the teaser resonates with emotional depth and a stirring sense of heroism. With breathtaking visuals, a gripping background score, and every frame soaked in patriotism, the film is shaping up to be a defining war drama of our era. The film has really moved Farhan Akhtar in many ways and he shared his thoughts about the same.
Talking about the film, Farhan said, “The story is the battle that he fought. It’s become the stuff of legends… when I heard the story, not just of Shaitan Singh Ji but even of the soldiers who fought alongside him, it really inspired me. It was very motivating in terms of realising how much you can do for your people, for society, if you are determined. That spirit really moved me.”
He further added, “There’s a very wonderful sense of patriotism that you feel when you do this. It just somehow brings front and centre what being an Indian is about. It awakens something inside you.”
Further reflecting on the artist’s perception, he said, “All of us as artists have only our instinct to go on. But it’s a story that has already stood the test of time. The fact that it has reached me, and there’s excitement about making it close to 64 years later, that in itself says a lot.”
120 Bahadur is based on the incredible true story of the 120 Indian soldiers who held their ground during the Battle of Rezang La in 1962, one of the bravest last stands in Indian military history.
And at the heart of it all : one unwavering line echoes through the film: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.”
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production. Releasing in cinemas on 21st November 2025!
