The historical war drama sees Sooraj as the unsung warrior Hamirji Gohil, who goes above and beyond to protect Somnath temple from invading forces. While the actor maintained his strong screen presence throughout the film, he surpassed expectations in the film’s climax, wherein he brought together intensity and the unwavering power of a Rajput to showcase his quest to fight for Dharma and the temple.
Speaking about the climax scene and pulling it off, Sooraj said, “Shooting the climax scene has been on of the most challenging part for me so far. It was intense – emotionally and physically charged, to get the expressions right and to ensure that the frame comes together, to ensure that the rage and ferocity is seen out and out there. Apart from being challenging, it was fulfilling for me. It felt like the actor in me was happy.”
