The special screening was attended by producer Sajan Raj Kurup, co-producer Shobha Sant, and lead actors Siddharth Gupta and Sanskruti Jayana, who interacted with the Deputy Chief Minister following the screening.
Diya Kumari’s appreciation comes at a remarkable time for the film. At a time when even major star-led releases are struggling to sustain theatrical runs, Krishnavataram Part 1: Hridayam has emerged as one of the year’s most extraordinary success stories. Now in its fifth week, the mythological epic continues to draw audiences through overwhelmingly positive word of mouth.
Featuring a cast of newcomers including Siddharth Gupta, Sanskruti Jayana, Sushmita Bhat and Nivaashiyni Krishnan, the film has defied conventional industry wisdom by relying on storytelling and audience connection rather than star power. The result has been an exceptional theatrical run, with the film grossing over ₹55 crore at the box office.
Speaking about the occasion, producer Sajan Raj Kurup said, “We are deeply honoured by Diya Kumari ji’s appreciation of Krishnavataram. Her recognition of the film’s celebration of Indian culture and its message for younger generations is incredibly meaningful for our entire team.”
As Krishnavataram Part 1: Hridayam enters its fifth week in cinemas, endorsements from audiences, cultural leaders and public figures alike continue to reinforce the film’s growing stature as more than just a box-office success. It is increasingly being celebrated as a cinematic tribute to India’s timeless heritage, values and spiritual traditions.
