With each passing day, as Sitaare Zameen Par nears its release, the excitement is rising to a fever pitch. A spiritual sequel to the 2007 superhit Taare Zameen Par, the film promises to arrive with a plethora of love, laughter, and happiness, as evident from the trailer. While the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make this film even more special, a fan meet for Taare Zameen Par was recently hosted by brilliant storyteller Laksh Maheshwari, which saw the entire team come together.
The fan meet by Laksh Maheshwari, witnessed the presence of the entire cast of the Taare Zameen Par and Sitaare Zameen Par, including Darsheel Safary and his on-screen parents, Vipin Sharma and Tisca Chopra. It was a truly memorable event that also saw the presence of the 10 rising stars of Sitaare Zameen Par, along with Aamir Khan and the iconic composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
From Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy performing the iconic songs from Taare Zameen Par to Aamir Khan joining them on stage, and the children delivering heartfelt performances alongside him, the event was an celebratory and emotional rollercoaster. Laksh Maheshwari perfectly anchored the evening, taking the audience through the journey of Ishaan. His speech, filled with emotions, laughter, inspiration, and motivation, deeply resonated with the audience, evoking nostalgia for the cult classic.
Adding a humorous twist to the event was popular stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral, who left the audience in splits. The evening concluded with a soul-stirring performance by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy that brought tears of joy and left everyone overwhelmed with sheer happiness.

The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The screenplay is written By Divy Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka as producers. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film will be released in theatres only on 20th June, 2025.
