In a historic and electrifying moment, Vyom and Saachi Bindra’s starrer Mannu Kya Karegga? has set a world record with 8406 college students grooving in unison to the much-loved track ‘Humnava’. This achievement officially breaks the previous record held by Salman Khan’s iconic ‘Dhinka Chika’ song from Ready (2011), making it the largest student gathering dancing for a film song to date.
Speaking about this extraordinary feat, legendary music composer Lalit Pandit shared his emotions:
“Seeing 8406 young college students grooving together to ‘Humnava’ makes me believe what the power of true music is. To even be spoken of alongside a Salman Khan blockbuster like ‘Dhinka Chika’ is an honour in itself. That song has its own legacy, and the fact that ‘Humnava’ could carry forward that energy to a new generation makes this moment truly special. Music truly knows no boundaries, and this proves how deeply our melodies have connected with today’s youth.”
He further added: “For me, Humnava is a song that proves the true power of music and how it can unite thousands and create memories that last forever.”
With its heartfelt emotions, fresh faces, and music at the core, Mannu Kya Karegga? is already making waves even before release. Also starring Vinay Pathak, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Kumar, and Charu Shankar, the film promises to redefine India’s romantic musical genre in 2025.
