Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s love story has left all their fans inspired to the core, and believe one more time that true love exists no matter how rich or famous you become in the way. However, while their dreamy love story definitely is one-of-a-kind, not many know that their love story didn’t immediately get into place, for Varun in a radio talk show with Kareena Kapoor on What Women Want, revealed that Natasha rejected him three to four times before accepting his marriage proposal.
Talking to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun said, “The first time I met Natasha was in the sixth standard. We have not been dating since then. We were friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. We were very close friends,”
The actor added how Natasha had her magic effect on him, after he saw her for the first time in school, saying, “I still remember, we went to Maneckji Cooper, she was in the yellow house and I was in the red house. It was on the basketball court. So, in the lunch break, in the canteen, they give you food and an energy drink. I remember her walking, I remember seeing her and actually when I saw her that day, I felt like I fell in love with her. That was it,”
He further revealed that Natasha rejected him three to four times, saying, “She rejected me three-four times,” and added, “I didn’t give up hope.” As quoted by Hindustan Times.
