Shraddha Kapoor has acted in films such as Stree, Chhichhore, and Saaho since her breakout role in Aashiqui 2. Shraddha had her own achievements and tribulations, despite being the daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor and the niece of actress Padmini Kolhapure. She had to undergo several rubbish movies before obtaining the good ones. Shraddha made her acting debut in the Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley film Teen Patti.

Shraddha, on the other hand, was unable to complete another production, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s My Friend Pinto, due to its failure at the box office. She was also approached with project proposals that she was unwilling to accept. Shraddha said in an interview with Filmfare that she was offered a number of trashy films while hunting for a suitable role. “I didn’t know how to refuse him and very coyly told him, ‘I’m not moving into that terrain for now,'” Shraddha said of being offered an erotic thriller by a well-known filmmaker.

“Before Teen Patti came out, I auditioned for a pretty important picture,” Shraddha said in the same interview about missing out on Bhansali’s feature. “I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I worked all hours of the day and night to give the audition my all. However, I did not get the part. I went to my mother and informed her of what had transpired when I got the call (about being replaced). Following that, I requested that she leave me alone. I went to my room and cried nonstop for three days on my bed.”
