On Tuesday, September 6, during the Goodbye trailer premiere ceremony, producer Ekta Kapoor experienced a moment of sadness. Rashmika Mandana, Pavail Gulati, Neena Gupta, and Amitabh Bachchan (virtually) all attended the promotional event in a Mumbai multiplex. During the trailer event, Ekta broke down in tears while discussing her parents, actor Jeetendra and producer Shobha Kapoor. She remembered having a heated argument with her parents as well. She continued by saying that it’s frightening to realize your parents are aging at some point.

She stated, “I think hum sabne apne parents ke saath bohot argue kiya hai and humne apne parents ko bohot saari cheeze boli bhi hai. Gussa kiya hai. But there’s always a time when you get scared. Parents are getting old. I actually went up and said to them. I think it’s the age you start worrying about your parents. I don’t know why, I am hating it. Sabse kathin janamdin us din hota hai jis din aapko jo janam dete hai, woh nahi hai.

Yeh din bohot logon ke life mein aata hain. wo darr, wo fear, wo din…I don’t know how people live with it. So, the film is very close to my heart, and it is the film about family, and we are nothing without our families.” Speaking of Goodbye, Rashmika Mandanna makes her Bollywood debut in this movie. The death of a family member is the film’s central theme, which is an emotional drama.
