Corsets gained momentum in the 18th century when women wore these waist-clinching, cage-like belts on their ensembles. Bollywood actresses Disha Patani and Janhvi Kapoor have revived the corsets but in a more functional, and comfortable way.
Once Disha walked the premiere show red carpet and made heads turn in white corset top. Disha chose a strapless white corset top that showed enough of her gorgeous curves. She gave the look a casual touch by pairing it with a classic ripped denims. Disha further styled the look with black and white strappy heels that made her look taller than ever. A diamond studded choker served as the best accessory for the white and blue attire.
On the other hand, Janhvi picked out a blue denim corset top from S&N by Shantanu & Nikhil for her promotion look. Janhvi’s strapless structured attire entailed a colour-block detail and metallic studded rivets. This was tucked inside high-waisted denim pants to meet the matching code. She opted for mini gold hoop earrings and white strappy stilettos.
