Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput: Though they had a hush-hush affair in Delhi, their wedding became a major trend on Twitter. The wedding of Shahid Kapoor and his new bride was the talk of the town, with many candid pictures from the ceremonies circulating. The grand reception is set to take place in Mumbai on July 12th, and it’s expected that many celebrities will be in attendance.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor: Saif and Kareena celebrated their wedding over the course of five days. They started with a pre-wedding gala in Mumbai, followed by the official signing of marriage papers at Saif’s Mumbai residence in the presence of close family members. The festivities continued with two grand receptions in Mumbai and Delhi. The Mumbai reception was attended by many celebrities, while the Delhi reception was a lavish display of opulence.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai: This was the big bang of Indian shaadis. The Bachchan family’s residence, Jalsa, now has a fibreglass structure covering the windows on the first floor. Their second home, Prateeksha, served as the temporary home for the Rai family during the ceremony, and featured an air-conditioned mandap. This became the wedding of the millennium.
