Gangs of Wasseypur, the dark comedy cum crime film directed by Anurag Kashyap was centered around the coal mafia of Dhanbad, and dwelled deep into the underworld dealings, the enmity between three crime families. The film was heralded for its production value, great narrative and gripping storytelling.
The film in fact was brought back again with a Part 2. Both the versions were bestowed with all the top awards and recognitions.
Part 1 starred Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadda, Reema Sen, Piyush Mishra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and many others.
One of the best scenes in the film s the one where Faizal aka Nawazuddin Siddiqui kills Yadav the old man who supplies him with arms and ammunition. After taking all the guns from the old man and checking on them, Faizal uses one of the guns to shoot the same man. Breath-taking, spine-chilling moment!!
One such best scene is the comic romance of Huma Qureshi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is when he keeps his hand on Huma’s without seeking her permission. Also, he asks her out for a movie in a very cute way and this was romance at its best.
