Ishaan debuted as a young Shahid Kapoor in the film Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi when he was just a young actor.
In Majid Majidi’s 2017 film Beyond the Clouds, where he played the part of heroin dealer Amir, Khatter had his first role as an adult.
In Dhadak, where he starred alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan attracted a large following and significant media attention. In 2020, he co-starred with actress Ananya Panday in the Bollywood action movie Khaali Peeli.
