Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu (born 9 August 1975) is a Telugu-language actor, producer, media personality, and philanthropist. He has starred in over 25 films and received several awards, including eight Nandi Awards, five Filmfare South Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards, three CineMAA Awards, and one IIFA Utsavam Award. He is not only one of the highest-paid Telugu cinema stars, but he also owns the production company G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.

Mahesh Babu recently appeared on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s discussion programme ‘Unstoppable,’ which was aired on the local OTT platform, and the actor shared an obscure occurrence from his past. Mahesh Babu had to apologize to Tamil filmmaker Shankar Shanmugam when one of his directors, Meher Ramesh, disclosed a former incident.

While Balakrishna was playing a few videos of various directors, they disclosed some unforgettable occurrences involving Mahesh Babu. Meher Ramesh, who has also worked with Mahesh on a few advertisements, reminded him of an event that occurred in Chennai.

“In a five-star hotel, we were enjoying breakfast. I was with my family, as were Meher Ramesh and his family. Two lovely young ladies approached me and asked for my autograph. I declined, claiming that it was my personal, family time,” Mahesh Babu elaborated.

“After some time, Meher Ramesh informed me that the two girls were the kids of director Shankar. I was stunned, and as I approached him on the next level, I apologized for not giving his girls my autograph when they had asked for it,” according to the ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ actor.

“Shankar, who took it positively, said it was good because his daughter had seen how celebrities live. I was astounded by his simplicity and humility,” Mahesh said.

On May 12, Mahesh Babu’s film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ was released in theatres.
