Alia Bhatt disclosed that her co-producer of the upcoming Netflix film Darlings, Gauri Khan liked this movie which is no less than a big win. Alia Bhatt revealed that Gauri doesn’t like things, and when she liked Darlings, it made her feel glad.
Alia released the trailer of Darlings this Monday along with co-actors Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and director Jasmeet K Reem. Alia is making her production debut with Darling, which is scheduled to release on Netflix on 5th August.
Revealing Gauri Khan’s reaction to Darlings, Gangubai Kathiyawadi actress said in an interview, “I was very happy that Gauri loved it. I was like, when Gauri likes my movies, I feel very grateful. It is a very rare thing. She doesn’t like anything. Even though she is a producer of the movie, I feel so relieved that she loved it. I said that also when they called me, even Shah Rukh agrees that if Gauri likes something, it’s a big win.”
Darlings is a dark comedy plotted in Mumbai. It casts Shefali and Alia as a mother-daughter duo who will kidnap Alia’s husband to teach him a lesson. Alia has co-produced this movie along with Sunshine Productions, in collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Currently, Alia is busy promoting her film Darling. The movie seems to entertain the audience next month.
