Kartik Aaryan is one of the most gifted actors in Bollywood’s tinsel town. He began his career with the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and he hasn’t looked back since. In movies like Love Aaj Kal 2, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Luka Chuppi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dhamaka, and others, Kartik showcased his acting talent. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the actor’s most recent movie, broke various box office records. Following the enormous success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor stated in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama that his producers informed him that he had quadrupled their money in 25 days.
The actor said during the interview, “Mere producers ne mujhe bola tha abhi, ki ‘Tu aesa actor hai jo 25 din mein paise double kar deta hain humare’ (My producers told me recently, ‘You’re such an actor who doubles our money in 25 days’). He said it in a very funny way. My producers are really happy with the kind of subjects that I’m choosing and the kind of return they get. I’m really happy about that. After all, this is a business. We do bring in the creative aspect. But eventually, you have to earn money also and that becomes very important for the final result.”
He ended by saying that nobody had imagined the level of business that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 would generate. He also credited every member of his team. “Somebody told me this thing and I want to share it in a positive way…that after watching Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 several people said that they didn’t miss Bhool Bhulaiyaa. And it’s a proud feeling for both the films,” added Kartik.
Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik’s film has earned over 230 crores from just the global box office, has been trending on OTT, and has been recognized as a Global Blockbuster of the Year. Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Kiara Advani, and other performers all had significant roles in the film. The movie was directed by Anees Bazmee.
Kartik is now shooting scenes for his upcoming film, Shehzada, on the front lines of the industry. The movie is a remake of 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which also stars Kriti Sanon. He will also appear in Shashanka Ghosh’s romantic suspense film Freddie alongside Araya F. Also in Kartik’s repertory is “Satyanarayan Ki Katha.” The production of the movie is made possible by Nama Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The social drama Captain India will feature Kartik and Hansal Mehta working together.
