Katrina Kaif, who tied the knot with URI actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9 in Rajasthan in an intimate wedding, recently revealed that in past, during Phantom’s promotion, Katrina mentioned Sham Kaushal (Vicky’s dad) while trying to explain her action sequences. Katrina seemed irked because Sham did not ask her to fire the gun in one of Phantom’s pivotal scenes.

As per reports in Zoom TV, a photo is going viral from the sets of 2015 film Phantom, directed by Kabir Khan. In the sequence, Saif and Katrina were in a jeep when a Syrian army tank approached them. Katrina revealed that next, Saif had to pounce towards a machine gun in order to rain bullets on the army. However, when the shot was established, action director Sham conveniently assumed that the jeep’s driver and Saif would be firing the guns, while she (Katrina) would take cover near the door. She mentioned to the stunt director, Sham Kaushal, that she plays an ex-RAW agent who has been properly trained for combat. So why do Saif and the army guys get to shoot while she is supposed to hide?”

Katrina then added, “When Kabir Khan came on the set, I told him how they were not ready to give me a gun. And it was Kabir who told them (Sham and his team) that I too should be allowed to shoot and do the fight sequences. It’s an automatic reflex not to give blazing guns to a Bollywood actress. But in this case, I was instrumental in making the line happen.”
