The Sadak 2 director was seen celebrating his birthday with Ranbir Kapoor too, who is Alia’s love. Surprisingly, this was the first public connect that we seen by one and all of Mahesh Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

On Mahesh Bhatt’s 73rd birthday, the most unique wish had come from the youngest of all, Alia Bhatt. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted two pictures from her father’s birthday celebration. The fans were delighted to see Ranbir Kapoor attending his would-be father-in-law’s birthday celebration. The family had smiled at the camera as they had celebrated Mahesh’s special day. Along with it, Alia had written:
“73 years young! Happy birthday, papa.”
Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter, Alia Bhatt is dating Ranbir Kapoor, and the possessive daddy has approved of their romance. Not just that, Mahesh Bhatt also shares a warm bond with his future son-in-law, Ranbir. In a conversation with Barkha Dutt’s show, Mojo Story, Mahesh revealed how he and Alia’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor made a bond. Sharing that they had formed a bond over Alia being a mystery, Mahesh said:
“Me and Ranbir often say that she is a bit of an enigma. She’s an ET (extra terrestrial) that’s come to us and will remain a mystery. Let this rare bird be. Don’t put her in a cage or try to define her. She is as mysterious as life. One day she was born to us and she remains an enigma to us.”
