Shreyas Talpade the Bollywood actor is highly capable of taking up roles that are unique and different. His portrayal in the film Iqbal is a simple proof of the fact that Shreyas Talpade is a classy performer. However, the actor has few reservations when it comes to calling his friends as friends.

In an interview with a leading portal, Shreyas has indicated that many of his friends backstabbed him, as they did not want to work with him and felt insecure in his company.

Shreyas has also talked about the fragile egos of actors in Bollywood which cannot be changed.

In a detailed chat with the leading daily, Shreyas talked and we bring you the quote from that report, “I found out that there are certain actors who are insecure about sharing screen space with me and don’t want me in a film. I have done certain films for friends only keeping their interests in mind but then I have been back-stabbed by the same friends. Then there are friends who go ahead and make films without including me, which makes one question if they are even friends at all. Actually, in the industry, 90% of the people are just acquaintances, there are only 10% who actually feel happy when you do well. The egos are so fragile here.”

However, in a recent interview that came out in Hindustan Times, Shreyas also appreciated the change in the industry owing to the pandemic. “For ‘a long time’, things had been getting ‘pretty one-sided’ and unfair. So this correction was necessary. From here on we pretty much have an equal playing field for all of us. Things are looking bright, amazing and exciting.”

That’s a good observation, Shreyas!!
