Reese Witherspoon’s new $16 million mansion in California will be where she will live in luxury. Pictures of the enormous home that the award-winning actress just acquired in the posh Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles reveal that it is opulent but still has a homey feel.

Variety reports that Resse Witherspoon and her husband, Hollywood talent agent Jim Toth, purchased their 7, 9-bathroom, 9, 504-square-foot residence in March 2020; however, the transaction was not made public until recently. The English-country manor is located in a ravine in Los Angeles on three acres of extremely secluded, gated property.

The house is large, with exposed beams and lofty ceilings throughout. A large living room with a fireplace, a formal library with wood paneling, a formal dining room, a sizable chef’s kitchen with an adjacent breakfast room, and more are among the interior features. A separate sitting space and a master bathroom with two vanities. The property also contains two separate staff suites to allow live-in help.

With beautifully groomed lawns and gardens, a saltwater pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining areas, and a sizable outdoor fireplace, the home’s outside is as stunning.

In 2014, Resse Witherspoon and Toth also bought a historic Southern manor house in Nashville, the city where she was raised. They renovated it and now live there occasionally. The couple just let go of their Malibu farmhouse, which was fit for a magazine.
