Ananya Panday, the Gehraiyaan actress got us all awestruck with her stellar updo at Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding. The diva donned a stellar plunging black dress with noodled strap. The diva teamed the look with a sleek hair bun, dewy eyes and bold classy red lips. Speaking of that, here we have got our hands on the ways to achieve the iconic look of Ananya Panday, as he mua Stacy Gomes reveals the steps to it.
Stacy Gomes recalled, “When she stepped out in the Dolce & Gabbana dress, we were all awestruck,”, while the red lipstick has been a staple move for the women in the country lately, the Mumbai based makeup artist added, “There’s nothing like a red lip to add a pop of colour to an all-black outfit, but I opted for a darker red on the day of the event to add an element of grunge—consider it a modern take on the classic red lip,”

“The first step and most important is skin prep. I like to add a little highlighter to my moisturiser to give the skin that lit-from-within glow that lasts all night. Always take your skin prep and foundation all the way down to your neck to make them look as even as possible. If you are looking to accentuate your features, it’s good to use a more pigmented highlighter to catch the light instead of going overboard with trying to cover the entire area.”
She added, “When the hair is snatched back, contour becomes your only way to structure a face. I was generous with the contouring for this look, but never forget to blend, blend, blend. I also used some concealer to sharpen the bottom of my contour.”
For the edge and blush, Stacy said, “The blush is, of course, non-negotiable as it brings back life and dimension to the look, especially since foundation tends to cover a lot of the natural colour on your face. For the eyes, I did a wash of metallic gold on the eyelid, making it important to bring in definition with a tight black line very close to the lashes.”
She continued, complimenting Ananya, “Ananya has been blessed with beautifully shaped and full eyebrows, so a good brush through and clear eyebrow gel is usually all we need to style them well. For the lips, we opted for a darker shade of red and I went back in with the concealer on the edges of the dark lip we had created for a cleaner and crisper finish.”
She concluded, “I always finish off a dewy makeup look with a mattifying finishing spray on the T-zone for oil control over the night, since we all know that Ananya doesn’t spend too much time off the dance floor!”
