Master the action thriller Tamil film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has been the first big film in the South to be doing well in the year 2021. The film has Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi playing the central roles.
The film is about an alcoholic professor JD, played by Vijay who locks horns with Bhavani a nefarious criminal who rules over the juvenile center where JD gets posted. The role of Bhavani is played by Vijay Sethupathi.
The film has been a huge grosser and has amassed huge profit in its 15 days of release in theaters. The film has grossed huge money profit in Chennai alone.
As per the tweet of trade expert Kaushik LM, out of the Rs 100 crore business it has made, Rs 10.09 Crores is from Chennai alone. And this is a new record of sorts, beating the last highest grosser of Rs 10 Crore in Chennai.
While there are huge comparisons being made between Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi’s characterizations and how the actors have excelled, the public has given their verdict and have loved the work of both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi.
