Previously, each film had its own unique music collection. Singers and songwriters were given credit when it was due. However, the tendency in Bollywood music is currently slowly reversing. Every decent film these days has at least one or two songs that had previously been great hits.

On the one hand, it’s encouraging that the golden numbers are resurfacing. On the other hand, the number of new songs is dwindling. Remake songs have become increasingly popular, whether they are Punjabi music in Bollywood or ancient Hindi songs.

We’ve compiled a list of every Hindi song that is a remake of an older song. Play the playlist to reminisce about the good old days.

1. Gabru

Honey Singh and J Star sang the original song, which was featured on Honey Singh’s International Villager album. There was clearly a heterosexual relationship in there. The Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan adaptation, on the other hand, gave it a homosexual romance and made it hot as hell thanks to Ayushmann Khurrana’s nose ring.

2. Dum Maaro Dum

Almost every song featuring Zeenat Aman has been replicated at least once, we believe. But this one from Dum Maaro Dum sticks out because it not only encapsulates the spirit of the hippie movement that gave rise to it, but it also depicts the current state of drug use in India. Deepika Padukone also looks stunning in this film.

3. Rashke Qamar

India has barred Pakistani singers from performing there. But it doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate their music, particularly this cover of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s well-known tune. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Nusrat’s nephew, uses his magnificent voice to rework, making it the one redeeming feature of Baadshaho.

4. Tip Tip Barsa song

The Tip Tip Barsa song from Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi has gotten a lot of attention. Everyone has reacted well to the reworking of this song. It’s impossible to ignore Kat’s stunning appearance in the song. Her perseverance has paid off handsomely.

5. Koi Sehri Babu

Divya Agarwal, the amazing Bigg Boss OTT winner and Splitsvilla star, starred in the all-new video for the timeless vintage classic Koi Sehri Babu, which was initially included in the 1973 blockbuster Loafer and featured the famous Mumtaz. The song, which was initially performed by Asha Bhosle, has recently been popular on social media platforms, and the new version made by Saregama gives it a modern twist.
